Après cet après midi au Golden Gate Park, nous avons passé la soirée à North Beach, le quartier italien de San Francisco. Nous sommes allés dire bonjour à Francis (Ford Coppola, of course) au Cafe Zoetrope qui est situé dans le majesteux Sentinel Building.
Par la suite nous avons visité l'Hôtel Hyatt Regency dont l'atrium, surplombé de 17 étages, est magnifique. C'est le plus vaste hall d'hôtel du monde qui abrite une immense sculpture de Charles Perry, des cafés et de très beaux ascenseurs de verre.
Et pour finir la soirée, quoi d'autre qu'un bon plat de pâtes? On est dans le quartier italien, après tout!
After this afternoon in Golden Gate Park, we spent the evening in North Beach, the Italian district of San Francisco. We said "hello" to Francis (Ford Coppola, of course) at Cafe Zoetrope
which is located in the majestic Sentinel Building.
Afterwards we visited the Hyatt Regency Hotel with his awsome atrium, topped by 17 floors. This is the largest hotel lobby in the world with a huge sculpture of Charles Perry, cafes and beautiful glass elevators.
And to finish, what else than good pasta? It is in the Italian quarter, after all!
