La majorité des geysers en activité dans le Monde se situe dans le Upper Geyser Basin où se situe le renommé Old Faithful Geyser. Le Old Faithful Geyser est le premier en photo ci dessous. On a pu le voir 2 fois en éruption, la première d'en bas la seconde d'un point d'observation en hauteur. Le old Faithful entre en éruption toutes les 2 heures plus ou moins 10 min.
La randonnée dans l'Upper Geyser Basin est très sympa au milieu des geysers et encore une fois dans un paysage de désolation.
Ce fut également le jour de notre première rencontre avec un loup (blanc). Pour la petite histoire, le dernier loup de Yellowstone a été abattu en 1925 mais ils ont été réintroduit en 1995. La réintroduction a été un succés et actuellement il y a (que) une centaine de loup sur Yellowstone.

We have seen it erupting 2 times, the first time from down the second from a high observation point. The old Faithful erupts every 2 hours ± 10 min.
Hiking in the Upper Geyser Basin is very nice, we are in the middle of the geysers and again in a desolation landscape.
This was also the day of our first encounter with a wolf (white). For the story, the last wolf in Yellowstone was shot in 1925 but they were reintroduced in 1995. The reintroduction is a success and now there is (only) a hundred wolves on Yellowstone.
